The Creature in the Fireplace

Brothers Jason and Elliot aren't excited to move in to a new house with their dad after their parents' divorce. When a gremlin type creature starts wreaking havoc in the house, the boys get in trouble and no one believes them. The boys decide to set a trap to prove to everyone they weren't lying once and for all. They just have to learn how to work together.
